Most of us must have already know about
the tax, the tax is something that is imposed to the citizen by the government.
The function of tax is to fund public expenditure for hospitals, schools and
transport. Now, let’s talk about the insurance, insurance is a contract, represented by a policy, in which an individual receives financial protection
or reimbursement against losses from an insurance company. But the topics that
we would like to discuss at this time will be about: “Should the government
provide free health care for the citizens who pay taxes? Or they should be using
their own private insurance?”. In my opinion, i think the government should pay
for our healthcare because it will make the society look alike without gap, and
i would like to discuss 3 arguments.
The first argument will be “We are paying more taxes for our health care”. We know that when
we are paying taxes, it will be for the infrastructure, education, health, etc.
So we are suitable to receive the health care provided by the government, as long
as we pay the obligation for our health care. Paying more taxes will help us to
receive more for the treatment for safety purpose, we don’t need to worry too
much because the government covers all aspects for its citizen.
The second argument will be “Government should pay for our healthcare because its their
responsibility”. Basically this argument will be talking that one of the
functions of government is to keep their citizen healthy, so it is their job
also to take care of us from paying taxes. Even if we are healthy enough, we
know that the money that we paid (taxes) to the government will help for those
of them who are in need and they are poor.
The third argument will be “There are so many poor people in one country, and it is the government
job to help them”. This kind of thing has been happening around the world
and we cannot help with poverty, so we can’t expect all the people to have
their own private insurance. Ironically, the rich will be able to enjoy good
services in the hospital using their own insurance, but the poor can’t do
anything about that one.
But most of us have already know that we have our own
free will to select, whether we want to choose using the private insurance, or
public health. We can’t force someone to obey the rules about this kind of
thing, so we all know that its based on our needs. But on the other hand, when
the rich can have access for the private insurance, it will cause the gap
between the rich and poor bigger. So this kind of situation is unwanted, it’s a
shame to think that only the rich can afford for health, but the poor can’t.
So paying taxes for our health care, responsibility from
the government, helping poor people is considered to be something that can
reduce the economic gap. This can help the others when the poor people suffered
from chronic diseases and it’s hard to get a treatment without private
insurance.
I just read your blog and even though I'm on the opposite site, I can completely understand your point of view.
BalasHapusHowever, I think that you can stressed your statement a little bit more by adding an example like facts, news, or an experience to just kinda amplify it, and that way the reader will be able to emphasize with your opinion even more.
That's just a bit of suggestion from me :).
Overall, great topic!
thanks a lot jo, appreciate that!
HapusHi Enndi, I think I will add for the outline, may be you can just delete the empty space in the table
BalasHapuswow, i made a mistake. thankyou !
HapusAnd for the content, I think it will be better if you use capital 'I' instead of 'i', but overall, I appreciate your idea for this essay
BalasHapusits already more than 300 word, don't forget to use I capital, and I think its enough.

HapusMost of us must have already know about the tax, the tax is something that is imposed to the citizen by the government. The function of tax is to fund public expenditure for hospitals, schools and transport. Now, let’s talk about the insurance, insurance is a contract, , represented by a policy, in which an individual receives financial protection or reimbursement against losses from an insurance company. In my opinion, I think the government should pay for our healthcare because it will make the society look alike without gap, and i would like to discuss 3 arguments.
BalasHapusThe first argument will be “We are paying more taxes for our health care”. We know that when we are paying taxes, it will be for the infrastructure, education, health, etc. So we are suitable to receive the health care provided by the government, as long as we pay the obligation for our health care. Based on Forbes.com, The two advanced economies with the most economically free health care systems—Switzerland and Singapore—have achieved universal health insurance while spending a fraction of what the U.S. spends. Paying more taxes will help us to receive more for the treatment for safety purpose, we don’t need to worry too much because the government covers all aspects for its citizen.
The second argument will be “Government should pay for our healthcare because its their responsibility”. Basically this argument will be talking that one of the functions of government is to keep their citizen healthy, so it is their job also to take care of us from paying taxes. Even if we are healthy enough, we know that the money that we paid (taxes) to the government will help for those of them who are in need and they are poor. According to the introduction of the new Federal Health Insurance Law of Switzerland in 1996 had three main objectives: 1) to strengthen equality by introducing universal coverage and subsidies for low-income households; 2) to expand the benefit basket and ensure high standards of health services; and 3) to contain the growing costs of the health system. So, it is important for the government to take responsibility for ensure that they can provide free health care.
The third argument will be “There are so many poor people in one country, and it is the government job to help them”. This kind of thing has been happening around the world and we cannot help with poverty, so we can’t expect all the people to have their own private insurance. Ironically, the rich will be able to enjoy good services in the hospital using their own insurance, but the poor can’t do anything about that one. According to www.worldbank.org, nearly 3,4 billion people in the world now are suffering from poverty (basic needs)
But most of us have already know that we have our own free will to select, whether we want to choose using the private insurance, or public health. We can’t force someone to obey the rules about this kind of thing, so we all know that its based on our needs. But on the other hand, when the rich can have access for the private insurance, it will cause the gap between the rich and poor bigger. So this kind of situation is unwanted, it’s a shame to think that only the rich can afford for health, but the poor can’t.
So paying taxes for our health care, responsibility from the government, helping poor people is considered to be something that can reduce the economic gap. This can help the others when the poor people suffered from chronic diseases and it’s hard to get a treatment without private insurance.
